I continued on with my normal activities, but the pain just seemed to progress. I was unable to stand or walk for any period of time and I couldn’t even get in and out of my own bed! As the owner of an automotive shop I was unable to take care of my shop like I usually did. My son had to help me run my business; I could barely even go to the shop. At home I loved to exercise and do my woodworking. I had so many projects in mind and I couldn’t even start any of them. I went to my regular doctor to get some relief, but all he could offer me were pain pills. I did take the medication he prescribed to me but I didn’t feel any change in my pain level. Finally, I came to the LCD Spinal Rejuvenation Center. The help and relief I got here was great. Although I am not completely pain free, I am able to do many things that my pain prevented. I can now take care of myself! Finally,I have found hope!

I feel my body has been abused because of this kind of work. For a while now I had been feeling pain in my right leg. It literally hurt from my leg down to my toe. Walking for extended periods of time, standing and my performance at work were really affected. It was like nothing I had ever felt before! Once I began to feel like I wasn’t going to be able to work like I had been used to it hit me! I felt very upset! I was grumpy and I was not a pleasant person to be around. For relief I tried many things from heat to cold, massages to chiropractic care. All seemed to have some relief but none lasted long enough. I missed being able to go on walks, exercise, and most of all work the way that I always had. When I came to the LCD Spinal Rejuvenation Center I felt it would be my last hope. I was excited to try something new! I just hoped it would really work. After going through with some treatments I felt relief of my pain! The pain has gone down drastically, almost completely! Ever since that time I have had severe pain in my low back and in my right leg. I was very depressed, frustrated, and I cried all of the time. I had extreme pain for days on end…it was absolutely unbearable. I couldn’t shower, or even go to the restroom by myself; I needed help with everything. I had to resign from my job. When I was home the only thing that I could do was stay in my room in bed. I couldn’t help my kids get ready for school or do their homework with them. I could no longer prepare meals for my family…I was always in extreme pain! After I began my LCD Spinal Rejuvenation Treatments, I slowly began to see a difference. My sciatica was really affecting my left leg. I felt a combination of burning and numbness. Then my low back began to hurt. It was constant and very painful! My pain slowly got worse and worse. I began to get depressed and I started to feel stressed out and tired. I started to feel that I wouldn’t be able to do the things I love anymore like gardening or walking my dog. My pain prevented me from doing any of that! I tried to go to my regular doctors but I felt that they only saw me for five minutes, gave me medication and sent me on my way… I tried taking pain medication, but that didn’t work much either. The pain would move from my low back to my hips and then into my sciatica nerves. The pain got so bad that I was almost in a wheel chair. I couldn’t do anything! I became very depressed, sometimes I just felt like crying. I could no longer bend or walk, I couldn’t even lay in my own bed. I spent all of my time in my recliner. So in turn I gained a lot of weight. I had been a carpenter for over 30 years. I had to retire from my job due to pain. I ended up going to Kaiser and asked them to please do surgery. The doctors told me that I was not a candidate for any surgery because I probably wouldn’t survive. I was just waiting to die. After I began my Spinal Decompression Program, I started feeling relief! It began as a mild tolerable pain, so I imagined it would go away. Then one day I felt the pain radiate down to my right hip. I couldn’t sleep properly and I couldn’t even walk like I usually did. I would always wake up having slept only a few hours. This pain really affected my mood and even made me irritable at times. I started going to my regular MD who told me I had a mild disc protrusion, but for that I only received pain medication and that didn’t seem to help much. Then when I went back to my doctor I asked for physical therapy and all he did was give me a book and no one showed me how to do the exercises. I became very upset; I felt my doctors failed to help me like they should have! Finally, I found Inland Back & Neck Pain in the newspaper and came in for a consultation. After a few treatments I began to feel some relief. I have been walking 3 to 4 blocks now and I definitely have less sciatic pain. My pain is not completely gone but I feel much better! The doctor and the staff were very caring and compassionate!

It became so severe that I would even experience a periodic loss of leg control. The pain definitely limited my outside activities and made it harder to get tasks completed since walking and bending caused the most pain. By the spring of 2000 my pain was so severe that my doctor recommended surgery. I later canceled the surgery when a friend suggested Decompression Therapy. I made an appointment and began treatments and was completely pain free for some time. But when the pain returned I knew Decompression would help me again. I began maintenance level treatments at Inland Back & Neck Pain Relief. I am now 100% better! The LCD treatments strengthened my back muscles and my pain has decreased. I am very satisfied!

Before coming to Dr. Prather’s office my health affected most of my daily activities very badly. I suffered from very little sleep, pain in my back, knee, leg, and feet. My medical doctor tried to help by prescribing a medication named Celebrex and also knee therapy. Neither treatment helped enough. Coming to see Dr. Prather has done great wonders for me! I was unable to walk or stand for more than 15 minutes. I had to start using a cane to help me walk. Prior to coming to this office I was always cranky and snappy. I couldn’t laugh or be with anyone when I was in pain. One thing that I loved to do was take care of my yard, but since my pain had gotten so bad I couldn’t do it anymore. I had received epidural blocks three times, took some Motrin, but the only thing that would relieve the pain was sitting down. Since coming to Dr. Prather’s office and beginning my Spinal Rejuvenation treatments, I can walk again without my cane! I can finally do my yard work! I had low back pain that radiated down my left leg to my knee, causing me to limp. I had lost all range of motion at my waist. It was just a depressing feeling, knowing I couldn’t do the things that I used to enjoy. Sewing and taking long walks with my husband were out of the question. I had tried exercising, using ice, heat, taking pain medication, muscle relaxers, and even doing physical therapy to alleviate the pain. Nothing worked! After my first LCD Spinal Rejuvenation treatment I noticed a big difference. I was able to drive to work, which is an hour and a half drive from here, and had no pain. I am now able to walk with out a limp. Now my attitude towards life is so much more positive. I finally can start living again without any limitations. I can do anything that I want to do!
